We were fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to listen to one of the greatest speaker of recent times. The program was called “Winning Leadership Strategies”. Robin Sharma is the globally celebrated author of 11 international bestselling books on leadership including The Leader Who Had No Title, the phenomenal #1 blockbuster that is inspiring a movement around the idea that “Now, anyone - in any organization - can show Leadership”. He shot to fame with The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, which has topped international bestseller lists and sold millions of copies. Robin is a former litigation lawyer who holds two law degrees including a Masters of Law (Dalhousie Law School). The key takeaways from the awesome session are as under:

Start Early: Its critical to start early. Just by starting your day 2 hours early, you have actually earned 2 more hours in that day. Imagine what all you can do in those pristine 2 EXTRA hours when  others are sleeping and you are ready for the day.
First 90 minute Rule: Keep this 1st 90 minute to yourself. This should be utilised to plan your day. Finish the unfinished.
Be uncomfortable: if you notice / realise, every challenging situation in your life makes you uncomfortable and once you conquer the challenge, you are a winner. If you are uncomfortable, you are progressing, you are winning.
Daily 5: Everyday note down TOP 5 most important things that you want to do and FINISH IT.
Clutter Free environment: Go minimalistic. De-clutter your mind, your work space, your life and you will realize that all of a sudden you feel light and happy to move on.
Remember: Change is hard in the beginning, messy in the middle but gorgeous in the end!
