Aam Aadmi - The Mango Man....

The recent times have been tough for "the mango man" aka Aam Aadmi. With all the corruptions, Inflation, lay-offs etc that we read all day in the news. Today, news of these kind fill up the news papers. Some one blaming the other for corruption, editors / columnists writing pages on the issues. Government trying to justify inflation, at the same time releasing a survey that a Aam Aadmi earning Rs 32 or more (even a paisa more...) a day can be termed as above poverty line.Lay-offs has become a way in the corporate world.

All this and more effects only the aam aadmi and no one else. This Aam Aadmi is at the mercy of all and sundry. Employers, Govt., service providers, to the extent that the people whom this aam aadmi trusts in their daily chores of life - viz, dudhwala, autowalla, buswalla, bhajiwalla, fruitwalla and you know who all I am talking about. All these have a unity of voice and when they are not satisfied with any govt decisions, change in regulations, inflation etc, they unite and make their demands heard. They threaten to strike so that (helpless) people like us suffer and the lives come to halt. We are always the targets for everyone. People make people suffer but eventually the helpless bread earner of the house suffers.

Fuel price hikes, autowalla demand hike in price, vegetables become dearer, you ask why? pat the reply - "mahngayee hai sahab...", you pay more for the transport, you pay more for everything that matters. Everybody who has a united voice put the people on tender hooks, on ransom and get their voices heard for which this aam aadmi has to pay. Their income do not increase with relation to the inflation.

A time has come when we the Mango People need to unite and make our voices heard. Can we actually, NOT pay tax and demand that first our demands be met like, better road, better infrastructure, better life, lower inflation etc etc and then only we shall deposit the taxes? Can we unite & put government on tender hooks this time? Is there a possibility?

I think it is time to raise our voice. UNITE.
