English is a FUNNY Language!!!

Hi,
Lets learn (or unlearn) english. Mr Big B has told us this a long ago when he said "Bharon becomes Baron because their minds are very narrow", that he can walk english, talk english as english is a phunny language. I think he was right.
We know in hindi that when we combine 2 words, it gives us a third word and the meaning is obviously the bit of both words but never a meaning that is far from the meaning of the words that were combined. Lets understand this:
When we combine शिव (lord shiva)+ आलय (place) to give us शिवालय (place of lord shiv)
again, when we combine शुभ (good, holy) + इच्छा (wish) = शुभीछा (good wishes) so on & so forth
Now, when we combine 2 english words, what we get is...
a bit of sandhi-vichhed (संधी विच्छेद ) here
We know -
"Awe" means admiration, surprise, worshipful, wonderment etc as in the sentence "He is in AWE of her"
"Full" means Full, filled, complete etc etc
"Some" means a little, a few, a quantity
Now the magic:
combine - Awe (worshipful) + Some (few) = awesome (splendid, tremendous) - ever wonder when it means splendid, why is it aweSOME while
Awe + Full = Awful (terrible, dreadful etc)
shouldn't it be awful - splendid etc while Awesome could mean less splendid.
I should have known, Mr Big B was right & english is indeed a phunny langauge.
