The other day, I woke up to rude shock yet again: Front Page read: "Milk to get dearer by Rs. 3/- from 16th Feb".
I thought to myself, chalo there still are 10 days left to make the most MALAI(cream). But then again I read elsewhere in the same edition: "Inflation up 17%" and all my MALAI was turned into chaas (Butter Milk). I was a happy man till then & now this inflation has put me back there where i was almost a year back.
The song was released long ago but makes MOST sense to me after this date. I have started to think again, am I earning enough?, should I look for greener pastures? etc. but I read today in the same journal "25000 Flats unsold in Mumbai, up from 16500 last year" corrections expected.
Makes me feel good for some days, some time, or some hours...will wait for tomorrows paper to know.
